How to Commission a Custom Orgone Pyramid: A Complete Guide

A custom orgone pyramid is the most personal, powerful piece we build. Here is everything you need to know about the commission process — from the first conversation to delivery.

Why Commission Instead of Buy?

Every Orgonomy standard pyramid is a carefully built device. A commission is something different: a pyramid built specifically for your space, your intention, and your vision. No two commissioned pieces are alike. Each is a 1-of-1 that begins with a conversation and ends with a piece that cannot be replicated. You can see examples of past work in our pyramid gallery.

People commission custom pieces for several reasons:

  • Specific spaces: A healing sanctuary, a meditation room, a retreat center — spaces that deserve a piece built specifically for their dimensions, their purpose, and the energy they are designed to hold.
  • Specific intentions: A pyramid built for protection, for creativity, for emotional healing, for a relationship, for a business — with the formula, geometry, crystal selection, and materials chosen deliberately for that intention.
  • Scale: The largest pieces we build are available only as commissions. XXL and museum-grade pyramids require individual design, build, and delivery planning that standard production can’t accommodate.
  • Aesthetic vision: Specific colors, finishes, crystal types, inclusions — a piece that fits a specific space aesthetically as well as energetically.

Step 1: The Commission Request

Every commission begins with the commission request form. This is not a shopping cart — it is the beginning of a conversation. In the form, you share:

  • The space the pyramid is for — dimensions, use, and how it feels now
  • What you want the pyramid to do — protection, vitality, healing, grounding, etc.
  • Any aesthetic preferences — colors, crystal types, finish quality
  • Your budget range — commissions start at $1,000 and go to museum-grade pieces well above that

There is no pressure and no obligation at this stage. The request opens the conversation.

Step 2: The Proposal

Sher reviews every commission request personally. Within a few days, you receive a proposal that includes:

  • Recommended geometry (Giza, Nubian, or a custom variant) with the reasoning
  • Recommended formula (Black Sun, Red Sun, or a custom blend) with the reasoning
  • Crystal selection — the specific crystals recommended for your intention
  • Approximate dimensions and weight
  • Pricing and build timeline

The proposal is a starting point, not a final specification. You can request changes, ask questions, and refine the design through the conversation.

Step 3: Confirmation and Build

Once the proposal is approved and a deposit is confirmed, the build begins. Build time is typically 4–8 weeks, depending on size and complexity. Larger pieces require longer cure times and more layered pours. You receive progress updates at key milestones during the build.

During the build, your pyramid is the only piece being worked on. There is no queue of identical pieces being produced simultaneously. Your commission receives the full attention it requires. Each is built by hand with Sedona-sourced materials, in a precision-controlled environment engineered specifically for pyramid production.

Step 4: Delivery

Small and medium commissions ship via standard insured courier. Large and museum-grade pieces are delivered via white-glove freight service with professional handlers. Every commission ships with full documentation: materials, formula, crystal selection, build date, and geometric specifications on record.

Museum-grade pieces can also be installed by Sher personally for clients in areas where this is feasible. Contact us for details if your piece exceeds 100 pounds.

Pricing

Commission pricing starts at $1,000. The final price depends on size, materials, crystal selection, and complexity. There is no upper limit — museum-grade commissions have ranged from $10,000 to significantly above that for institutional clients requiring the largest pieces ever produced. If you have a specific budget, share it in your request and we will design the best possible piece within that budget. We would rather build you the right piece at the right scale than oversell.

Is a Commission Right for You?

A commission is right for you if:

  • You want a piece that no one else has
  • You have a specific space, intention, or scale that standard pieces don’t address
  • You want to be involved in the design of your piece
  • You are building a healing or retreat space and want the energetic foundation built with intention from the ground up

If you’re not sure, contact us. The conversation is free. We’ll tell you honestly whether a commission serves your needs better than a standard piece.
